Red Roses and Chocolate Brownies

On April 22, 2022, I wrote my second NYC 100-Word MicroFiction Competition.

I was given the following criteria to use in my story:

Genre: Romance
Action: Making Brownies
Word: Click
Length: 100 Words Maximum

This is what I wrote:

Title: Red Roses and Chocolate Brownies

Is it romance, love, or lust?

My partner, Mr. Right, is a womanizer? What to do? What to do?

When we first met, we unquestionably did click! Mr. Right was very gentle but physical, unable to keep his hands to himself, persuading me to reciprocate.

Our presence alone drew us close together. The natural attraction between us was electrifying. He was older, attractive, craftier, and most skilled at playing mind games to convince me that he was overly passionate regarding me.

Occasionally, Mr. Right surprised me with dozens of beautiful red roses. In return, I baked his favourite chocolate brownies.
